A play on a party favorite with our Rosatello Rosso. Great to make for a crowd.
1 bottle Rosatello Rosso Red Wine
2 plums sliced, plus extra slices for garnish
1/2 cup Cointreau
1/2 orange, cut into quartered wheels
1 Gala apple, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 sticks cinnamon
1 bottle ginger beer or ginger ale
Candied ginger for garnish
Combine all ingredients (except the ginger beer, candied ginger and plum slices for garnish) into a pitcher or large container and store covered in refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, pour the ginger beer into the pitcher. Then pour into rocks glasses and garnish with a fresh slice of plum and a piece of candied ginger. Makes one pitcher.
